Calciomercato.com report that Inacio remains in the thoughts of Milan and his mentor Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese defender was left on the bench yesterday by Sporting CP manager Rui Borges for the entire league match against Alverca.

Exit imminent?
According to Now Canal – a well-known Portuguese TV station – Inacio is ‘close to being sold’. Jorge Mendes and Inácio’s agent (the same one who represents Amorim) are working to find the best solution for the 25-year-old.
Sporting are not asking for the €60m release clause, but are demanding between €40-45m to let him go. Inácio is currently attracting interest from Barcelona, Milan, and Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.
In the last few hours, the Blaugrana have also been linked with Inacio, with Gerard Romero mentioning the 25-year-old as a target, along with RB Leipzig’s French centre-back Castello Lukeba.
However, Matteo Moretto has since clarified on X that he is not a name they are looking at, so it could well be a case of Milan versus Al-Hilal. The Sporting CP coach meanwhile admitted after the game on Sunday that he cannot guarantee Inacio will stay.
