Drew Brees is hours away from fulfilling the ultimate honor as a football player by being inducted into the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame class. The legendary New Orleans Saints quarterback walked into Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, on Friday afternoon, a day before his official induction. Fans of all the inductees yelled the names of their favorite players as they walked down the pathway, and Brees waved and shook hands with as many Saints supporters as he could along the way. One group of Saints fans reached their arms out for a high-five with Brees over the barrier’s gates, but lost their balance and began to fall forward. Brees quickly noticed the incoming accident and swiftly moved over to the group and held up the falling fans. One fan held Brees’ head and gave his head a kiss on the cheek in gratitude as he walked away. Earlier in the week, Gayle Benson surprised Brees by putting his jersey on Tom Benson’s statue.
