Cairo, Egypt – Zamalek SC has revealed details of its official response to the offer submitted by Shabab Al Ahli SC to sign Portuguese player Juan Alvina Bezerra. The club also clarified the financial terms and conditions it has set for approving the deal during the current summer transfer window. Zamalek officials sent a letter to Al-Fursan in response to their offer dated July 28, 2026, in which they requested the permanent signing of Bezerra. The Zamalekawy app subsequently published details of the letter and the conditions set by the White Knights’ management. Bezerra had previously announced his desire to leave Zamalek after receiving an official offer from Shabab Al Ahli. However, the Egyptian club insisted on keeping the player and refused to let him leave during the summer transfer window. Zamalek are asking for $6 million to sell Bezerra Zamalek has set a price of $6 million for the permanent transfer of Bezerra to Shabab Al Ahly. The full amount must be paid in one lump sum upon completion of the transfer agreement and receipt of the player’s international transfer certificate. Zamalek’s offer also included a clause regarding bonuses and incentives, with a total value of up to one million dollars. This depends on the performance of both the player and the Emirati club during the contract period. $1 million in bonuses Zamalek stipulated a $300,000 bonus if Shabab Al-Ahli wins the AFC Champions League or any other Asian club championship. They also stipulated another $300,000 bonus if the team wins the UAE Pro League title. The agreement also stipulates that Zamalek will receive $200,000 if Bezerra makes at least 15 attacking contributions, either by scoring or assisting goals. This applies within a single season. The club also requested $100,000 if the player wins the UAE league’s Player of the Season award. A similar amount would be paid if he finishes the season as Al Ahli’s top scorer. 20% of Bezerra’s resale Zamalek included a clause in the agreement that entitles them to 20% of any future transfer fee for Bezerra. The transfer could be permanent or a loan for a fee. The Egyptian club also stipulated that it has the right of first refusal to buy back the player, should he move to another Egyptian club in the future. According to the letter, Zamalek has the right to activate this clause within 14 days of receiving written notification of the offer. Therefore, the offer must be on the same financial and contractual terms as that offered by the club wishing to acquire the player. However, this applies only to transfers to clubs affiliated with the Egyptian Football Association. Zamalek rejects Shabab Al-Ahli team’s offer Zamalek clarified in its letter that agreeing to the aforementioned conditions does not constitute a final agreement for the deal. This is because the club stipulated the need for a formal tripartite transfer agreement involving Zamalek, Shabab Al Ahly, and the player. This agreement must be signed and ratified by all parties. In response, Shabab Al Ahly submitted a new offer of $4 million, plus an additional $1 million in bonuses and incentives. However, Zamalek’s management rejected the offer, officially announcing the end of negotiations regarding Bezerra’s departure.
