Report - WWE Fears AEW All In Outselling SummerSlam 2026

WWE held its 39th annual SummerSlam pay-per-view event at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis last weekend, but unlike past stadium shows, the company chose not to reveal attendance figures for either night. Weak ticket sales had already been a hot topic leading up to the event, and WrestleTix reported that 35,654 tickets were distributed for Saturday, while 33,719 were distributed for Sunday. According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, secondary market data suggests SummerSlam 2026 ranked as the second weakest major sports event of the year on that front. He explained that after WWE dropped ticket prices to $25 due to low demand, sales briefly picked up before stalling again as the show got closer. WWE likely stayed quiet on the numbers as it was unhappy with the final count, and Meltzer argued that since public funds helped pay for the show, Minnesota officials should release the real figures anyway. Moreover, WWE may be nervous about All In: London 2026 outselling both SummerSlam 2026 nights, since AEW has already moved 36,565 tickets for the upcoming Wembley Stadium show.
