Jude Bonnar made a scoring debut as he helped Arbroath to a 2-1 win away to Morton. The win lifts Arbroath into sixth place with four points from their opening three matches. Three points behind Stenhousemuir, Partick Thistle and Raith Rovers sharing top place. Bonnar opened the scoring in the 19th minute after completing a loan deal on Friday. Morton equalised in the 48th minute but in stoppage time Tom O’Hare won the points for the visitors. BONNAR SCORES ON HIS DEBUT-AGAIN Last season Bonnar made a scoring debut for Ayr United against Arbroath in the League Cup but that proved to be his only goal of the season. As part of the Co-Operation Deal he started in 21 Championship matches, joined by Celtic team-mates Kyle Ure and Francis Turley. Celtic don’t have any Championship Co-Operation deals this year. Rice was in goals today as Dumbarton lost 3-1 away to Kelty Hearts with Hartington an unused substitute.
