Slippery conditions greeted IndyCar drivers as they explored their second new street circuit in as many weekends. The series’ new circuit in Washington is an extremely simple layout consisting of just seven corners. Drivers also discovered an aggressive bump at one of the fastest point on the circuit approaching turn two, where several of them went wide, including Nolan Siegel while yellow flags were displayed at the corner. A two-day format is being used for the new event. Qualifying will take place after second practice today, while warm-up and the 147-lap race will take place tomorrow.
