Saints face Rams in Saturday afternoon’s second NFL preseason game INGLEWOOD, Calif. (WVUE) - The Saints take on the Los Angeles Rams in both teams’ second NFL preseason game Saturday (Aug. 22). Coverage from SoFi Stadium begins at 2:30 p.m. on Fox 8 and on the Gulf Coast Sports and Entertainment Network. The Saints are again expected to sit their starters for Saturday’s game, having given them a heavy workload this week in joint practices with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday and the Rams on Thursday. The Rams, likewise, are expected to rest their first-teamers as coaches evaluate roster depth. New Orleans coach Kellen Moore has not said which quarterback will open Saturday in place of starter Tyler Shough. Spencer Rattler got the start last Saturday against Jacksonville and completed 8 of 11 passes for 42 yards. Zach Wilson completed 11 of 16 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown against the Jaguars, a performance that could elevate his playing time against the Rams. Running backs Kendre Miller and Devin Neal, who were out with injuries last Saturday, are back and available to play Saturday. They will be needed with starter Travis Etienne being held out to rest, Alvin Kamara out for a month after injuring a knee in the practice with Dallas, and Audric Estime unavailable after hurting an ankle against Jacksonville.
