East Kilbride have announced the signing of Celtic attacker Rhys Dargie on loan. Dargie has started the season on fire for Celtic B, with three goals and five assists in five Lowland League games. East Kilbride have secured back-to-back promotions from the Lowland League to League One over the last two years, while Dargie has recorded 23 goals and eight assists in 42 games for Celtic since 2024. In recent days, central midfielder Owen Harrington and goalkeeper Aidan Rice have joined Frank McKeown’s side. East Kilbride are in action later today away to Montrose in League One, and it will be interesting to see if Dargie is part of the squad, having been announced on the same day as the game.
