Back in June, Oklahoma State women's basketball coach Jacie Hoyt spoke about the difficulty she had run into again this year in building her team's non-conference schedule — but the real challenge lies in the schedule itself. The Cowgirls will go on the road Dec. 6 to face perennial power South Carolina on its home floor. South Carolina lost to UCLA — the same team that eliminated OSU from the NCAA Tournament last March — in the title game this past season. Led by legendary coach Dawn Staley, South Carolina has won two titles and been runner-up twice in the last five seasons. As part of the agreement, OSU and South Carolina will play at a neutral site in Oklahoma in the 2027-28 season. OSU's full non-conference schedule was released Friday and includes all three in-state opponents with Tulsa hosting the Cowgirls on Nov. 12, Oral Roberts coming to Gallagher-Iba Arena on Dec. 1 and the Bedlam matchup set for Dec. 12 at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Hoyt will also take the Cowgirls to Kansas City to face her alma mater, Wichita State, in a neutral-site game. Here's a look at the full schedule:
