adidas Basketball superstar Anthony Edwards completed the three-day Believe That. Manila Tour on August 13, bringing his signature peach-themed energy to basketball fans across the Philippines. The tour began with a VIP welcome dinner, where Edwards connected with Philippine basketball legends Tim Cone and Atoy Co. He later appeared at an exclusive Anthony Edwards Fan Fest, arriving aboard a peach-themed Jeepney with a motorcade and a moving concert from DJ Euric while giving fans exclusive tour merchandise. Edwards also connected with the next generation of Filipino athletes at the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas Elite Youth Camp. His trainer, Minnesota Timberwolves Assistant Coach Chris Hines, led drills and scrimmages for 20 of the country’s top U15 boys and girls from the national team pool. The adidas x Foot Locker Believe That. Challenge brought the competitive spirit of Filipino basketball to the forefront. Players competed in a 1v1 tournament on a peach-colored court for a ₱100,000 cash prize, with Edwards watching from the sidelines. Local adidas Basketball brand partners then faced Edwards in a 4-point challenge. Following the success of last summer’s Believe That.
