West Ham are likely to hand debuts to new signings today in our London derby with Charlton Athletic. Although it is only the 2nd game of the Championship season, there is undoubtedly pressure on West Ham and Nuno today, following a disappointing draw on the opening day at Burnley. It is hoped that returning to a sold out London Stadium today will provide the atmosphere the team need to produce a much needed positive performance, with Nuno expected to hand debuts to new signings. Both Arne Engels and Joel Piroe are expected to make their first appearances for the club, with a real possibility that both will start. Pablo is unlikely to feature having suffered a calf injury on the opening day, while Major Solomon is expected to start. There are question marks over whether Nuno will opt to bring in Malick Diouf at the expense of Ollie Scarles. Today’s match kicks off at 3pm at the London Stadium.
