Garfinkel Steps Away After 13 Years as Dolphins’ President, CEO
Miami Dolphins vice chairman, president and chief executive officer Tom Garfinkel announced he is stepping away from his role as president and CEO after 13 years. Garfinkel will remain a part of the organization as vice chairman of the Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium and managing partner of the Miami Grand Prix. Dolphins chairman and owner Stephen M. Ross also introduced Ross Sports & Entertainment, bringing together the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, the Miami Grand Prix, the Miami Open tennis tournament and the Precision Drive Club into one entity. Ross has named Daniel Sillman as CEO of RSE.
CAA Executive Search Adds 6 International Executives
CAA Executive Search, a division of entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency, announced it has named Patrick Gallagher and Omar Abdo to the newly created positions of head of Australia and New Zealand and head of Middle East, respectively. In addition, the agency furthers its global footprint, adding three veteran search executives in its Munich office, including Henrik Mook, Melina Schulmeister and Sarah Kohrs, while Joseph French has joined as partner in London.
Scorability Expands Executive Leadership
Scorability announced the addition of Garrett Sparling as chief financial officer and chief operating officer and Allan Keller as vice president of engineering. The additions of Sparling and Keller are part of Scorability’s investment across its engineering, operations and customer success teams. Prior to joining Scorability, Sparling served on the executive team at AlertMedia, while Keller joins following his role as VP of engineering at Prism.fm.
Upshot Baltimore Names Sonia Chase President of Franchise
Upshot Baltimore—the fifth franchise of the Upshot League, a pro women’s basketball league, and the newest team owned, managed, and operated by Zawyer Sports & Entertainment—appointed Sonia Chase as president of the franchise. A Baltimore native who was born and raised in the city, Chase brings nearly three decades of experience as a professional athlete, sports executive and community leader to the helm. Upshot Baltimore will begin play in May, calling the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena home.

Allstate Named Founding Partner of LA28 Olympics, Paralympics
Allstate announced that it is a Founding Partner of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the official home and auto insurance partner of Team USA. Allstate will also support NBCUniversal’s multiplatform coverage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Philadelphia Eagles Announce Official Partnership With Arena Club
The Philadelphia Eagles announced a multiyear partnership with Arena Club, the trading card marketplace and grading platform. The deal, which designates Arena Club as a Proud Partner of the team, marks the brand’s first official collaboration with an NFL team. Co-founded by Baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter and entrepreneurs Brian Lee and Jesse Glass, Arena Club merges the physical and digital worlds of trading cards in a way that allows hobbyists to grade, collect, invest and sell on their app.
FutureSports, NHL Announce Exclusive Partnership
FutureSports and the NHL announced an exclusive agreement providing FutureSports with official real-time NHL statistics that the company will use to create new broad-based CME FutureSports Performance Indexes (FSPI) tailored to NHL teams and players. FSPI are benchmarks used to measure the cumulative performance of teams and athletes in prominent sports leagues. The play-by-play indexes that move throughout the course of each game will provide hedging vehicles and new investment opportunities this upcoming season. CME Group will be listing monthly and quarterly cash-settled futures contracts, pending regulatory review, based on the CME FSPI NHL benchmarks in time for the 2026-27 season.
Jets Partner With Outfront Media
The New York Jets have partnered with Outfront Media. This partnership marks the first team collaboration for Outfront’s newly launched Fan Connect division, officially making Outfront the preferred out-of-home (OOH) media partner of the Jets. The partnership also introduces a first-of-its-kind “throughpoint sponsorship” model, allowing brands to incorporate Outfront’s digital OOH media inventory into their Jets sponsorship packages and engage fans beyond the stadium experience.
WVU Athletics, Learfield Partner With Antero for Jersey Patch
The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with Learfield’s Mountaineer Sports Properties, has partnered with Antero Resources for a five-year jersey sponsorship beginning with the 2026 athletic campaign. The partnership secures Antero’s logo on the home and away jerseys of all 18 WVU varsity sports and marks the first uniform sponsorship patch in school history.
NWSL and Gerber Announce Partnership
The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) has partnered with Gerber, making Gerber the official baby and toddler food and snack partner of the NWSL. The Gerber brand will be seen across the league in a variety ways, including signage at NWSL matches, social media content and activations at league tentpole events.
NFL, American Football Australia Partner on Sporting Schools Program
The NFL and American Football Australia (AFA) announced a first-of-its-kind agreement in Australia which will see the two organizations come together to deliver a nationwide Sporting Schools program. As part of the partnership, flag football school programs across the country currently run by the AFA and NFL concurrently will all become NFL Flag branded and will enter the Australian Sports Commission’s (ASC) National Sporting Schools program.
SFC Named Management Partner for U.S. Steel Community Field
The Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) has been named the management partner for U.S. Steel Community Field, a new multipurpose sports venue in Pittsburgh. SFC will oversee day-to-day operations, programming, scheduling, maintenance, staffing and event coordination at the facility, which features a full-size field and seating for approximately 3,000 spectators. SFC also appointed Charley Kiss as general manager. The venue, which hosted an April ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, will celebrate its official opening Aug. 15-16.
Jets, CBS New York Extend Multiyear Partnership as Official Broadcast Home
The New York Jets agreed to a multiyear extension of their partnership with CBS New York, renewing the station as the official broadcast home of the team. The agreement will feature preseason game broadcasts, and expand on year-round team coverage with new and refreshed programming, including Jets GameDay, Jets Late Night, and The Official Jets Podcast.
CSMG, 3ICE Partner on Hockey Sponsorship, Media Strategy
CSMG, an integrated sports, entertainment and media company, has partnered with 3ICE, a 3-on-3 professional ice hockey league now its fourth season, to help accelerate the league’s business across sponsorship sales and media strategy. The relationship includes 3ICE’s full portfolio, including its professional men’s division, youth division and international, eight-nation World Cup competition.
Just Women’s Sports Partners With Justworks to Relaunch ‘The Playbook’
Just Women’s Sports has partnered with payroll software company Justworks to relaunch The Playbook, its podcast hosted by founder and CEO Haley Rosen. Justworks will serve as presenting partner. The series debuted with Angel City FC co-founder Julie Uhrman, with upcoming episodes featuring Olympic legend Allyson Felix and Always Alpha co-founder Cosette Chaput, followed by Los Angeles Sparks president Stacy Johns. The podcast will explore the strategies and decisions shaping the next stage of growth in women’s sports.
