WWE’s plans for the upcoming CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens match have reportedly become clearer ahead of tonight’s SmackDown. Owens returned from injury during the opening match of SummerSlam Night 2, entering a Fatal Four-Way against Sami Zayn, Gunther and Finn Balor. Owens ultimately won the match to become the number one contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Punk and Owens crossed paths on the SmackDown following SummerSlam, officially kicking off the build to their title match. The two have since continued their heated confrontation heading into tonight’s show in Toronto. According to Bryan Alvarez, via F4WOnline.com, Owens is currently the betting favorite heading into tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown.
