Tyreek Hill is not interested in racing the calendar just to get back on an NFL field. The 32-year-old wide receiver is still working his way back from a devastating knee injury, and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says Hill wants to be fully healthy before choosing his next team. That patience could push Hill’s return into the season; however, there is a bigger prize in mind. Rosenhaus says the veteran wants to find the right contender, get healthy, and make a run at another Super Bowl. Tyreek Hill Looks For The Right Team After Serious Knee Injury Rosenhaus revealed Hill’s plans on August 21, during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. The agent said he does not expect Hill to sign before the 2026 season, despite encouraging signs in the receiver’s rehabilitation. Hill recently sent Rosenhaus a video of himself running hills, but even after seeing that progress, Hill made it clear he still has work to do. “Tyreek Hill is gonna take his time and pick the right team. He dislocated his left knee and tore multiple ligaments, including his ACL, during the Miami Dolphins’ Week 4 game against the Jets last season. Miami released him in February, and Hill has since undergone two surgeries while continuing a lengthy rehabilitation. Hill offered his own sobering update in July, saying he still did not have full power in his left leg. Now, however, his agent believes the recovery is moving in the right direction. Rosenhaus said he is deliberately avoiding putting a timetable on Hill. The priority is not simply getting the former All-Pro onto a roster. It is making sure he feels like himself when he does return. It would put Hill among the most intriguing mid-season acquisitions if things go smoothly. Some veterans have been waiting well into the offseason for a place on teams, including Stefon Diggs and Keenan Allen. Their patience would pay off with a contender getting a proven difference-maker right when the playoffs start taking shape. Hill remains one of the best options out there, with an impressive 11,363 yards and 83 touchdowns alongside eight Pro Bowl appearances in his career. Last year, it had been one of Hill’s quieter campaigns to date. He recorded 265 yards and one touchdown. But interest will not go away anytime soon. Rosenhaus expects Hill to play during this season and believes he would be among the highly-sought players once he becomes ready. For Hill, his priority would remain the same – stay healthy first, choose the right contender second, and chase another Super Bowl third.
