Nathaniel Chalobah signs a 1 year deal The 31-year old who has been training with the Addicks has agreed to a one-year deal, making the defensive midfielder the 6th summer signing. Chalobah has played in the Premier League and Serie A and has an England cap. He has played over 200 Championship league games but in recent years his campaigns have been interrupted by injuries, mostly muscular ones. He does have a lot of quality on the ball and is a clever operator in front of a back four. There is no doubt he was a stand-out in a Sheffield Wednesday team that found it almost to impossible to score last season, but towards the end of the season when he was a regular were really awkward to break down. I think he is a positive add as a squad member, and could well make his debut tomorrow. Welcome, Nathaniel.
