WWE is reportedly mapping out its return to Saudi Arabia later this year, with Crown Jewel expected to remain part of the company’s premium live event calendar. While nothing has officially come to light, the current plans could set the stage for a blockbuster championship showdown if the title picture stays intact. According to PWInsider Elite, WWE is targeting November for Crown Jewel 2026, leaving plenty of room between Money in the Bank on Oct. 10 and Survivor Series on Nov. 28. However, the road to Saudi Arabia still has a few bumps before any dream matches become official. WWE’s current Crown Jewel plans could lead to Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk According to the report, WWE intends to continue the Crown Jewel Championship format introduced in recent years. Under the current plan, the reigning men’s and women’s world champions from each brand would face one another. The winners would earn the Crown Jewel Championship belts. If the championship landscape remains unchanged, that would put World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns opposite WWE Champion CM Punk in a WrestleMania rematch. It’s an intriguing possibility. However, fans shouldn’t count to three just yet. Both champions must retain their titles until November for the match to become reality. On the women’s side, the current projected matchup would see Liv Morgan face Chelsea Green. However, Green is presently sidelined with an injury, meaning that picture could also change before the event arrives. Should Crown Jewel go ahead as planned, it would mark WWE’s third Saudi Arabia premium live event of 2026. The company previously held the Royal Rumble in Riyadh in January and Night of Champions in June. WWE is also scheduled to bring WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia for the first time next year. For now, these remain internal plans, and title changes could quickly rewrite the card. Until then, the reported champion-versus-champion format appears to be staying in place, keeping the possibility of Reigns and Punk crossing paths once again firmly on fans’ radar.
