LEWISBURG, PA (August 20, 2026) – Senior Cassidy Nichols scored her first goal of the 2026 season as Mount St. Mary's women's soccer battled Bucknell on the road. The Bison registered eight goals and took the contest by an 8-1 score. Nichols' goal came in the 85 th minute, scoring on a strike that struck from the right side of the goal and planted into the lower left corner. For the Crofton, Maryland forward, the goal was the fifth in her Mount career. The Mount is now 0-3 this season. HOW THE GAME UNFOLDED - Bucknell came out firing with five goals in the first half. The Bison scored in the eighth minute, 12th minute, 31st minute, 34th minute, and 41st minute. - Not done in the second half, the Bison received two scores from Gaby Parker and Presley Sutter. - Nichols posted her goal in the closing minutes to prevent the shutout, before an eighth Bucknell tally found the back of the net.
