Nebraska volleyball’s Teraya Sigler ready for bigger role in 2026 LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska volleyball’s Teraya Sigler is in line to play all six rotations this season, a step up after spending her freshman year primarily in the back row. The new role is the result of hard work and improvement in her all-around game. Sigler is a dynamic outside hitter who appeared in every match last season. Coaches said the sophomore has made the biggest leap on the Huskers’ star-studded roster. “When you get to this level, improvement is a lot smaller than when you’re in high school,” Sigler said. “Take failure as a way to learn. Dani says ‘you’re going to fail,’ so its how you learn. So when the big moments come and you do go for it, we’ll be more successful.” Sigler was recently named Nebraska’s Lifter of the Year for her work in the weight room.
