Yilmaz has two years left on his existing deal, and Galatasaray are open to selling him this summer. They value the Turkiye international in the region of €50m. This means Tottenham and Everton’s verbal offers fall significantly short of the Turkish club’s valuation of the player, even though the Premier League duo’s approaches are yet to be knocked back. Yilmaz would add much-needed depth to Tottenham’s attacking ranks Yilmaz is rated among the best wingers in the Turkish Super Lig. The 26-year-old has been tormenting defences with his pace, directness, athleticism and physicality for the last few years. Tottenham and Everton have taken notice of Yilmaz’s performances in the Turkish top-flight and the Champions League. Both clubs are in need of attacking quality and depth in their squad, so it will be interesting to see where Yilmaz wants his next destination to be if Galatasaray accepts their verbal offers. From Tottenham’s perspective, Yilmaz would improve the depth in our attacking ranks. He’d be a good option to rotate and bring off the bench against tiring defences. Also, the Turkish star’s versatility could come in handy for De Zerbi.
