Celtic are reportedly in the works of agreeing a cooperation agreement with East Kilbride, according to The Celtic Way. East Kilbride have earned plaudits for their attacking style of football under manager Mick Kennedy and assistant Si Ferry. EK have recently won back-to-back promotions from the Scottish Lowland League to League One. East Kilbride currently sit second in the league table after three games played. The Hoops reportedly view the way East Kilbride play as a major positive, with Angeball-esque football providing a great platform for young Celtic players to flourish. Ferry joined the Hoops youth setup in 2000, making his first-team debut in 2006 during pre-season in Poland and learning under the late, great Tommy Burns, who he has consistently spoken highly about over the years. That background has helped shape his strong coaching identity alongside Kennedy. A number of Celtic B players are said to be under consideration by East Kilbride, and time will tell if a cooperation agreement can be agreed, but the positive signs are there.
