After overhauling its offense this past offseason, the Cleveland Browns trade rumors could heat up surrounding wide receiver Jerry Jeudy this upcoming campaign. According to Logan Ulrich of NFLTradeRumors, while there hasn’t been much smoke regarding a Jeudy trade, he’s still an attractive chip if the Browns have a faltering season. In this year’s draft, Cleveland selected receivers Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion, who are viewed as the future of this pass-catching unit. With Jeudy struggling in NFL Training Camp, he could be playing his last season as a Brown.
Originally selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the former Alabama product is coming off his worst season as a receiver. Last year, the veteran finished with 602 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns, recording the second-most drops in the league at 10, and catching just 47.2% of his targets. He also spent the first few seasons with the Denver Broncos, attempting to establish himself as the alpha, but ultimately was traded to Cleveland in 2024.

Potential Value
If the Browns are willing to deal the veteran, they’d probably prefer at least a second-rounder. After all, the former first-rounder is only 27, but his best days could be behind him. The Browns won’t trade him before Week 1, but it’s fair to wonder what could happen over the next few weeks. There are always teams looking to strengthen their offense, and perhaps the Browns receiver may generate trade interest during the 2026 season.
In his debut with the Browns, he exploded, posting 90 receptions for 1,229 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns, earning his first Pro Bowl nod. Maybe he can get back to his prime self if the Browns decide to move him.
