Former Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri will be getting inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the class of 2026, and it's a well-deserved recognition for someone like him. Throughout Vinatieri, he's made some important kicks that have led to wins, whether it was for the Colts or the New England Patriots. Speaking of the Colts or Patriots, Vinatieri had a choice on who he would have induct him into the HOF, and he chose owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon. It seemed like an easy decision for him as well, especially when he shared how much the late Colts owner Jim Irsay meant to him. “I love both organizations, I’ve got so many memories and so many great friends on both sides,” Vinatieri said on Football Night in America. “Living in Indy, what the Irsay family meant to me, Jim just meant the world bringing me into that organization, and Carlie, I’m so excited watching her taking over her dad’s legacy.” The Colts shared a video weeks ago of Vinatieri asking Carlie to induct him into the HOF. “Me? What?” Irsay-Gordon said in the video. “I would be honored to do that. That means so much you would want me to do that.” “That's what I want,” Vinatieri said. “You, your family, your father, meant the world to me and my family. He also won a Super Bowl with both teams, but at the end of the day, it seems as if the Colts run meant a little more to him.
