AC Milan have joined the race for Torino defender Alessio Cacciamani, and Alphadjo Cisse could be a part of the negotiations.
According to Toro.it (via Calciomercato.com), Roma aren’t the only ones interested in Alessio Cacciamani, a defender that has long been on Gian Piero Gasperini and Tony D’Amico’s list.

Torino do not consider him to be unsellable, but their president Urbano Cairo wants a fair price to let him go. In recent weeks, the Granata owner was offered €12m plus a 10% interest on any future transfers by the Giallorossi, but his price is €20m.
Roma could raise the offer by the end of this week for €15m plus a resale percentage. However, Milan are ready to enter the fray, and they want to secure the right of first refusal for Cacciamani by leveraging interest in Cisse.
Torino want to welcome Cisse on loan, so there could be an exchange of sorts. For the future – especially in terms of squad list rules – the Rossoneri will need to increase the number of Italians in the squad. Cacciamani is one of the most interesting prospects in Italian football.
The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Juve Stabia, working with Ignazio Abate and racking up two goals plus four assists in 36 games. He is also an Italy U21 international, and seems an ideal fit for the left wing-back spot, where Milan have another young Italian in Davide Bartesaghi.
Milan must make a call
Alessandro Jacobone meanwhile has reported the following: “In the last few hours, Milan have been making inquiries about Alessio Cacciamani, one of the young Italian profiles I consider most interesting for his characteristics and potential for growth.
“On the player, however, Roma are far further along today: the Giallorossi have already seen a first offer of around €10m plus bonuses rejected, with Torino continuing to value him much higher.
“A new Roman attempt is expected this week, which could come closer to €15m. And it’s right here that Milan must decide what it wants to do.
“Torino are insisting on Cissè, and Milan would like to exploit the situation to secure an option on Cacciamani for the future.
“Roma will offer €15m plus 10% on future sale to Cairo in the next few hours to get ahead of the competition, a figure still far from the €20m requested by the Granata president to sell the player.”
