MARTIN O’NEILL will decide tomorrow if he will be in charge of Celtic against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday afternoon. The Hoops boss was released from hospital last night and is at home recovering from a small procedure. O’Neill was in the dug-out in the champions’ Premiership opener against Dundee at Parkhead on Monday evening when Benjamin Nygren headed in the only goal of the game. The 74-year-old Irishman missed training at Lennoxtown this morning while assistant coaches Shaun Maloney, Mark Fotheringham and Stephen McManus oversaw the routines as the players prepared for the match in Ayrshire. WAITING FOR THE GREEN LIGHT…Shaun Maloney is in line to take charge of Celtic against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday afternoon. Maloney admitted: “I went to see Martin last night and it was really positive. “He got out of the hospital last night and was in good form. Loads better than he was on Monday and Tuesday, and, yeah, hopefully positive feelings that he continues. “No timelines, even for the game at the weekend, it’s sort of day to day. We saw him regarding the prep for the game, so he wasn’t in today.” Maloney, speaking at the media conference, added: “I will speak to him this afternoon and he’ll make the call for tomorrow and the game for the weekend. “We’ll definitely miss him if he’s not there, but you also have to respect what’s happened over the last few days. “The impact he’s had since October has been nothing short of incredible.” Kasper Hogh and Camilo Duran, £17million worth of striking talent, will make their second league appearances for the champions after their competitive debuts against Stephen Pressley’s Dens Park outfit.
