After years of heart-break and misery in Champions League Play-Offs the Colombian put his stamp on last night’s tie.
LASK are a good, well coached and hard working team but lacked the edge that Celtic now have.
That aspect rarely comes cheaply.
Last night Martin O’Neill put a £4.5m price tag on Duran, playing alongside Kasper Hogh in a new look forward line.
Duran’s first goal was an expertly delivered shot from the edge of the penalty box.
His second was a thing of beauty. It involved every part of the Celtic side but rather than feature 30 or more passes it was carried out with purpose on the front foot.
Celtic go from goalkeeper to goal as Camilo Duran gets his brace with ANOTHER beautiful finish ?

DURAN DELIVERS THE PERFECT CELTIC GOAL
Colby Donovan was involved in his own penalty box. Vil Sinisalo helped push the move down the Celtic left.
Kasper Hogh provided the key transition in the centre of the pitch, flicking the ball right to Ben Nygren as Celtic switched into attacking mode.
Donovan was off on the overlap, Duran held back for the lay off then planted an unstoppable shot high into the net.
And at 3-0 up the group stage of the Champions League was almost wining touching distance.
Fittingly Duran’s second goal was scored in the 67th minute.
There was still plenty of time for the Austrians to salvage something from the match but Celtic held firm.
An away goal in Austria should be enough to take Celtic through, Duran is certainly capable of providing that strike.
Signed on July 10 the Colombian made an instant impact with three goals in three successive pre-season friendlies.
Hogh’s arrival has pushed Duran out onto the right but cutting inside he carries the threat of an instinctive striker.
Last season Duran scored five times in the Champions League for Qarabag.
He is now one match away from a return to that level and the chance to add to his Champions League tally in a Celtic shirt.
