Erebus Motorsport unveil new look #9 Camaro for Ipswich
Rookie Jobe Stewart welcomes two new backers
Argus Auctions, Mackay Goodwin join as Primary Partners
Erebus Motorsport have revealed their latest to nod to history, as rookie Jobe Stewart welcomes two new backers to his #9 Camaro in Ipswich.
Argus Auctions and Mackay Goodwin join as Primary Partners for the Super2 race winner, in a black and yellow livery that harks back to the team's 2013 Bathurst 12 Hour victory with Mercedes.
Argus Auctions specialise in the sale of vehicles, machinery, and equipment for both businesses and individuals, whilst Mackay Goodwin are one of Australia's leading insolvency, restructuring, and insolvency firms.
The new look is the second livery in a row with links to Erebus' past, with Stewart running a black and blue livery reminiscent of the team's 2014 'Tron' scheme.
“The yellow looks really good on the car, and when I saw it I immediately thought of the old SLS that Erebus won the Bathurst 12 Hour with,” Stewart said.
“Obviously that was a pretty special car and a big part of the team’s history, so it’s pretty cool that the Argus yellow has that connection as well.
“I’m really looking forward to having Argus Auctions and Mackay Goodwin on the car at Ipswich and hopefully we can put on a good show for them.”
Erebus COO Carly Hammersley added: “It’s great to have Argus Auctions and Mackay Goodwin joining us for Ipswich and to be able to give both brands a strong presence on Car #9."
“They’re both established Australian businesses with a great connection to the markets they operate in, and we’re looking forward to working with them and also giving them the opportunity to auction off some exclusive Erebus Motorsport memorabilia."
The new look #9 Camaro hits Queensland Raceway for two practice sessions on Friday.
