The preliminary player ratings for Madden 27 have been unveiled, including 32 Canadians. The two highest-rated players at 85 overall are Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton and Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson. Singleton has spent the past eight seasons in the NFL as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and Broncos. He has recorded 768 total tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 17 pass knockdowns, five sacks, five fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, and three interceptions over 95 regular-season games. The six-foot-two, 240-pound defender has earned $20.6 million in the NFL, and signed a two-year, $15.5 million extension with Denver this past offseason. He previously spent three seasons with the Calgary Stampeders, earning two All-CFL selections, one Most Outstanding Defensive Player award, and winning one Grey Cup. Jackson has played five seasons in Los Angeles, making 51 starts over 57 regular-season games and helping the team win Super Bowl LVI. The six-foot-seven, 338-pound blocker was born in Windsor, Ont., though he spent part of his childhood in Detroit, Mich. He has earned $25 million over the course of his NFL career and is set to earn almost another $50 million over the next two seasons. The highest-rated Canadian player in Madden 26 was Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard at 85. The 27-year-old had rushed for nearly 1,200 yards the previous season, but ran for just 511 yards and one touchdown in 2025. All of the players listed below are Canadian-born or Canadian-raised, save for three who hold dual-citizenship — Singleton, Dalton Kincaid, and Kevin Cline.
