LAHORE - Pakistan are set for a busy international home season, with Sri Lanka and England scheduled to tour the country for a three-match T20I series, an ODI tri-series and a two-Test series between October 9 and November 21, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced.
Sri Lanka will be the first visitors, arriving on October 4 for three T20Is against Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 9 to 13. England will then join Pakistan and Sri Lanka for a six-match ODI tri-series, which will be staged in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31. Pakistan will open the tournament against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi on October 18 before facing England at the same venue two days later.
The competition will then move to Lahore, where Pakistan will meet England on October 25, followed by Pakistan’s clash with Sri Lanka on October 27. Sri Lanka and England will play the sixth match on October 29, with the top two teams qualifying for the final at Gaddafi Stadium on October 31. After the tri-series, Sri Lanka will remain in Pakistan for a three-day warm-up fixture in Islamabad from November 4 to 6.
The two sides will subsequently contest a two-Test series, which will form part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. The opening Test will be played at Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, while the second Test is scheduled for Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from November 17 to 21. The series will be Pakistan’s second home Test assignment of the current World Test Championship cycle, following South Africa’s two-Test tour in October last year.
The ODI tri-series will also mark Pakistan’s second consecutive year of hosting a three-team ODI tournament. Pakistan previously hosted New Zealand and South Africa in a tri-series in February 2025 ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.
The packed schedule will provide Pakistan with valuable international exposure across all three formats while giving the national side an opportunity to strengthen its preparations for upcoming major assignments.
