The Chicago Bulls have a new opportunity in front of them. More specifically, Bryson Graham has a new opportunity in front of him. A chance to build the next iteration of the Bulls. The next Bulls team to compete for championships. It all starts with Caleb Wilson, and so far, the Bulls have done a great job of building as good a team around him as possible. Obviously, the Bulls are a long way away from being in the title race. They aren’t even close to that point. But in the short-term, the Bulls have done a solid job of putting good pieces around him. Graham has surrounded Wilson with decent enough complementary pieces to help him thrive in his rookie season (and beyond). Wilson looks like the type of player who could blossom into a star, but in order for him to do that, he needs to be in the right environment. And Graham has tried his best to put him in that environment. Bulls have alread yput a solid team around Caleb Wilson For the next few years, as they figure out just how good he can be, the Bulls need to do everything they can possibly do to help Wilson succeed. They need him to be the best version of himself. Right now, Wilson is the best shot the Bulls have at having a franchise superstar. The best shot at them having the type of player who can lead them to their next title. But he’s not that right now. He hasn’t even played in an NBA game yet. Just Summer League. And he looked good in Las Vegas, but that’s not quite enough just yet. There’s a reason the Bulls selected Wilson with the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. A reason they trusted him as the first pick of the Graham era. A top-five pick. The Bulls believe in him. A lot. Chicago has done a great job putting a roster around him. Every piece the Bulls have put in place seems perfect for Wilson. They complement him very well. Norman Powell will provide enough complementary scoring to take the load off Wilson. That means he won’t have to worry about doing too much in the scoring department. Nicolas Claxton’s interior defense will give Wilson a solid back line to work with. That will help Wilson on the defensive side of the ball, where he thrives. Josh Giddey’s playmaking should be a good enough playmaker and creator to help create some easy looks for Wilson from the jump. Matas Buzelis is supposed to be his running mate of the future. A solid shooter and good shot creator. He can be a big part of the Bulls’ and Wilson’s future. Chicago is doing a good job at building around Wilson already.
