Derby County have revealed their squad numbers ahead of the season's big kick-off against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup tomorrow. Bobby Clark has been handed number eight following his permanent move from RB Salzburg this summer having worn 42 last season. Derby striker Sam Szmodics has also changed numbers after switching from 19 to 11 after sealing a season-long loan move back to the club from Ipswich Town. Filip Bilbija will wear 13, and fellow new signing Charlie Taylor will have 18 on his back next term. Corey Blackett-Taylor has been given 33. Cruz Allen and Charlie Smith, who have both come through the club's academy, will wear 40 and 41. Carlton Morris still retains the prized number nine shirt while reigning player of the year, Matt Clarke, will continue with the number five. There is no number four in the squad as it currently stands, the shirt worn by Danny Batth last season. He left the club in the summer after failing to reach an agreement over a new contract.
