Manubhai National representatives Shakeel Pillay and Raina Kumar claimed the men’s and women’s amateur titles at the 56th R.C. Manubhai Ba Open Golf tournament at the Ba Golf Course last Sunday. Pillay produced an outstanding performance to secure the Overall Gross title, with Ravendra Lal finishing as the Overall Gross runner-up. Mohammed Ali claimed the Overall Nett title, while Damon Chen finished as the Overall Nett runner-up. In the Women’s Division, Kumar was crowned the Overall Gross winner, while Lynn Natividad claimed the Overall Nett title. The professional category also featured a strong display of skill, with Roneel Prakash securing first place and Tomasi Tuivuna finishing second. Prakash said the tournament concluded successfully, bringing together golfers for an exciting display of skill, sportsmanship and competitive spirit. R.C.
