So, there is no need to find a new player yet. Things could quickly change, though.
Guerreiro on a free?
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews) in recent hours, the Rossoneri are looking at the free agent market for any opportunities to complete Amorim’s squad and Guerreiro is emerging as a concrete option.
Searching for a new home after his time with Bayern, the Portuguese all-rounder could well be on the club’s radar, as well as that of Amorim’s, especially if Estupinan is to leave this summer. However, it’s worth noting that that deal appears to be on ice.
A versatile wing-back, he would offer his compatriot both a technically strong wing-back, with a profile to invert. Alternatively, he is more than capable of playing down the flank on the left in a more attacking sense.
On a free, it could be a very smart piece of business, even if he has struggled with injury in recent times.
