The NRL star will front Sutherland Shire Local Court on Thursday over the incident, which allegedly took place in January as he took his two dogs on a walk near Gunnamatta Bay. According to NSW Police, officers were told “a man had allegedly exposed himself to a council ranger following an argument on Nicholson Parade” on January 11. On July 2, police issued a Court Attendance Notice to a 31-year-old man for behaving in an offensive manner in a public place. On Wednesday, The Daily Telegraph reported Rudolph – whose full name is Tobias Erik Rudolf – is that man. According to the Telegraph, Rudolf is a “passionate dog lover” and “frequently works with rescue dogs”. Rudolf has earned a reputation as one of the NRL’s great “larrikins,” and is often clipped on various NRL podcasts having lighthearted interactions with other hosts, players, and members of the public. He recently made an appearance in full Sharks kit (and a bow tie) on the red carpet before the Logies, interviewing celebrities. More to come.
