The Giants claimed defensive lineman Ben Barten off waivers, according to the NFL’s transaction report.
He reunites with the team that cut him early in training camp.
The Jets signed Barten on Aug. 1 after the Giants waived him. The Jets cut Barten on Tuesday.
Barten originally signed with the Giants after he went undrafted out of Wisconsin this year. He had 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack for the Badgers last season.
