The Michigan Wolverines have added the Bowling Green Falcons to their 2029 football schedule, FBSchedules.com has learned. A copy of the game contract was obtained from Bowling Green State University via a state open records request. Michigan will host Bowling Green at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, August 25, 2029. According to the copy of the contract, the Wolverines will pay the Falcons a $1.6 million guarantee the game. The two schools first met in 2000 and have played three contests overall, each in Ann Arbor. Their most recent matchup came in 2023, a 31-6 Wolverines victory. Bowling Green becomes the second non-conference opponent officially added to Michigan’s 2029 slate, joining a home contest against Western Michigan on September 1. That leaves the Wolverines with one non-league opening. The Big Ten has not yet revealed the conference opponents for each member for the 2029 season, but Michigan should have four home games and five road tilts. With the addition of the trip to Ann Arbor, Bowling Green now has two of its four non-conference opponents set for 2029. The Falcons are also slated to visit Tennessee on Sept. 15 for a $1.3 million guarantee. Football Schedules
