Sheffield, UK - 5th August, 2026 - The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks announce the signing of Maceo Jack for the 2026-27 Super League Basketball season. The 27-year-old guard, hailing from Buffalo, New York, USA, joins the Sharks for the 2026-27 campaign. Maceo played with the Newcastle Eagles during the 2025-26 season, averaging 15.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He has also played a further 2 seasons in the UK, as he suited up for the Cheshire Phoenix for both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons in Ellesmere Port. In between his two stints in the UK, Jack played with Orleans Loiret in the French Pro B League. During his college career, Maceo spent 4 seasons with the George Washington Revolutionaries between 2017-2021, before a final season in Buffalo in the 2021-22 season in NCAA D1. Maceo is excited to be joining the Sharks for 2026-27, “I’m thrilled to be signing in Sheffield for the 2026-27 season. I have played against the Sharks and know how Coach Lyons likes to play, which I’m looking forward to being a part of. Each time I played at the Canon Medical Arena I really enjoyed the atmosphere, but I’m excited to have the fans in my corner now!” Sharks Head Coach Atiba Lyons stated “Maceo has proven to be a great scorer in this league, showing this at both Newcastle and Cheshire during his three seasons in the UK. He will add an offensive threat to our roster for the new season which I’m excited to see on the court. He has been part of winning teams in the UK which will be further experience to add to the locker room.”
