During the August 17, 2026, episode of WWE RAW, Paul Heyman accompanied Bron Breakker to the ring for his segment with Oba Femi. After some heated words, Breakker suggested he and Femi have a match right away. However, Heyman stopped the reigning World Tag Team Champion and said if he takes one step towards the Ruler, he’d take a permanent step away from him. Paul Heyman told Bron Breakker that a clash between two main eventers to decide the future of WWE should not be an impromptu match on RAW. He said they’re in the “biggest promotion in the face of the planet” and that they don’t just answer to the fans; they also have to answer to the shareholders.
