Wed 19 Aug - Posted in Breaking News Time to read: 2mins Derby County's first home league game of the 2026/27 season is just around the corner, with Cardiff City visiting Pride Park Stadium on Saturday 22nd August (3pm kick-off). With the return of league football to Pride Park, supporters are reminded of some important safetu information ahead of the game. Children under the age of two are not permitted to enter Pride Park Stadium. If an under-two is found to have entered the ground, the supporters concerned will be removed from the stadium. Children aged two to five are permitted to attend matches in all areas of Pride Park Stadium, excluding hospitality. We also remind supporters that anyone aged 15 or under must be accompanied by, and seated directly next to, an adult aged 18 or over. A maximum of four children can attend with each adult. Supporters may notice new prohibited item signage being installed around Pride Park Stadium. There is no need to be concerned by the new signs. They are intended to provide a clearer and more detailed explanation of the items that can and cannot be brought into the stadium. If you arrive at Pride Park with an item and are unsure whether it is permitted, please speak to a steward or member of club staff before attempting to enter the turnstiles. Everyone attending Pride Park has a part to play in making matchdays safe and enjoyable for fellow supporters. Supporters are expected to follow the ground regulations and act responsibly while inside the stadium. Discriminatory behaviour that threatens the safety of any part of our fanbase or makes others feel uncomfortable will not be tolerated. The club will seek the strongest possible sanctions against those responsible. There is also no place at Pride Park Stadium for entering the pitch without permission, carrying or using smoke bombs, flares or pyrotechnics, throwing objects or using drugs. Where offenders are identified, the club will report them to the police, and prosecution could result in a permanent criminal record, with potential consequences for employment and education, as well as the possibility of a prison sentence. Persistent Standing: Fans are also reminded that persistent standing, excluding in the stadium’s licensed and designated safe standing areas, is not permitted and supporters will be told to take their seats throughout the game. Smoking and Vaping: Smoking and/or the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted inside Pride Park Stadium, including concourse level.
