Kostic was also sent back from the preseason tour of Australia and Indonesia early, with Ruben Amorim opting to trim the squad down. Kostic heads to Rotterdam According to what has been learned by the editorial staff of MilanNews, the news from Francesco Letizia of Sportitalia has been confirmed: Milan have made the decision to allow Kostic, to leave on loan. The 19-year-old – who Milan acquired in January from Partizan Belgrade for €5m and who joined the Rossoneri in July – will go on loan to Sparta Rotterdam, a team playing in the Dutch top flight, the Eredivisie. Given that Kostic scored double figures in league goals for Partizan last season, the idea of ‘demoting’ him to Serie D to play with Milan Futuro never seemed likely.
