Isack Hadjar could likely miss the upcoming Dutch Grand Prix due to an injury, GPblog has learned. Max Verstappen is likely to have a different teammate at his final home Grand Prix. His regular teammate, Hadjar, suffered a wrist injury during the summer break. Hadjar has fond memories of the Dutch Grand Prix. He finished on the podium there last year after a stunning drive. This year, he wanted to commemorate that result with his helmet, which features an image of him reacting after breaking the trophy during the celebrations. Replacement not clear yet It is yet to be known who would replace Hadjar during this weekend. Liam Lawson already has experience in stepping up during a Dutch Grand Prix. He already did so in 2023, when he made his debut for AlphaTauri after Daniel Ricciardo suffered an injury during free practice. In that case, at Racing Bulls, Yuki Tsunoda would take Lawson's seat, but the Japanese driver could also return to being Verstappen's teammate. For now, this change would only apply to the upcoming race at Zandvoort. The next race will be in Monza two weeks later. Verstappen's final home race The Dutchman previously said about his final home race in F1: "Okay, we won’t have a Formula 1 Grand Prix there, but there are a lot of other series that still race there, and if you want to have a track day, the track is not going to disappear.
