The GIANTS wish to congratulate star key forward Aaron Cadman, who has earned selection in the 2026 AFL Players’ Association 22Under22 Team, presented by Intrepid. Cadman, who turned 22 in March, has booted 31 goals from 17 games so far in 2026, spearheading an at times shorthanded GIANTS forward line. It’s the left-footer’s second consecutive appearance in the 22Under22 team, after earning selection alongside Finn Callaghan in 2025. A pre-season pelvis injury saw Cadman’s first AFL appearance of 2026 delayed until round five, where he arrived with a bang, booting four goals against the Tigers at Barossa Park. Strong performances in round six against North Melbourne, round 11 against St Kilda, and last week in round 23 against the Eagles have highlighted the key forward’s season. Having formed a strong partnership with fellow young key forward Max Gruzewski in recent weeks, Cadman will look to round out his season in strong fashion when the GIANTS take on the Crows at Adelaide Oval this Saturday night. Teammate Harvey Thomas also earned a nomination in the 22Under22 extended 40-man squad, but was not selected in the final team.
