BEREA, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns made a concerted effort to upgrade their wide receiver corps in the offseason by using two of the team's first three picks in the top 39 slots , along with signing an unrestricted free agent. KC Concepcion was taken in the first round by the Browns at No. 24, while Denzel Boston was taken in the second round at No. 39. They also signed wide receiver Tylan Wallace as an unrestricted free agent who played for Todd Monken with the Ravens. Jerry Jeudy has been the Browns No. 1 wide receiver on the depth chart for the past two seasons, but the Browns felt they needed to get more weapons for the offense After having a breakout season with the Browns in 2024 when Jeudy went to his first Pro Bowl after catching 90 passes for 1,229 yards (13.7 avg.) including four touchdowns, Jeudy's production dropped to 50 receptions for 602 yards (12.0 avg.) and two touchdowns in 2025. Jeudy has been impressed by what he's seen by Concepcion and Boston. "For sure," he said. "Having a great group of young guys, being able to come into the league and I made a few plays in the league. Casey and Denzel getting comfortable with during camp, making plays. So having a great group of guys that understand the offense, could make play outside, inside is going to help us all, in general." Jeudy (6-1, 195) is in his seventh season after being a first round draft pick of the Broncos from Alabama. In his first season with the Browns, Jeudy was credited with three drops on 145 targets by Pro Football Reference. However, in 2025, Jeudy had 10 drops on 106 targets. #Browns Jerry Jeudy from Deshaun Watson in 7 on 7 pic.twitter.com/sz4R35nnkh — Orange and Brown Rpt (@TheOBR) August 6, 2026 Jeudy, 27, said he's spent the offseason trying to get the drops corrected. "For sure," he said. "As a receiver, your job is to catch the ball. And we pride ourselves in catching balls and making plays. So that's the only thing I really feel like that was something big that I needed to work on."
