The Italian club have lined up a loan bid containing an option-to-buy clause and are hopeful of landing the Brazilian in due course, following Leeds’ club-record £40million capture of James Trafford at Elland Road. However, Perri’s departure has been paused for now while he recovers from his setback that forced him to miss the final two friendlies of United’s tour of the USA, in the hope that will make the medical process smoother.
