West Ham United striker Niclas Fullkrug has joined Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen on loan for the duration of the 2026/27 season. The 33-year-old German, who signed a four-year contract with the Hammers in 2024 has made just 13 competitive starts and scored three goals for the club since moving from Borussia Dortmund two years ago in a £20million switch.Since making it clear he would not consider playing in the Championship the former German international has been linked with a slew of clubs. However it is Bremen where Fullkrug began his career, and who avoided relegation to Bundesliga 2 by just three points and one position last season, who he will be representing this season after agreeing a season-long loan deal with Die Werderaner.
