These are not necessarily the five best offenses in the NFL. In fact, only two of the five are likely to finish in the top 10 overall. They are five offenses that look substantially more dangerous than they did when the 2025-2026 season ended, though. Here are the five most improved offenses in the league heading into the 2026-2027 season. The Patriots also attacked protection by signing Alijah Vera-Tucker and drafting tackle Caleb Lomu in the first round. Giving an MVP-caliber young quarterback Brown and better protection feels almost unfair. Denver Broncos Denver’s weakness was obvious: Courtland Sutton needed help. So the Broncos traded for Jaylen Waddle, whose 2.34 yards per route run last season ranked 11th in the NFL. His speed and crossing-route ability fit Bo Nix almost perfectly. Then Las Vegas added three-time Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum in front of Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers. That is a radically better infrastructure than the one Jeanty dealt with as a rookie. New York Giants Jaxson Dart now gets John Harbaugh, Matt Nagy and a much more physical offensive identity. Isaiah Likely adds a movable receiving threat, while first-round tackle Francis Mauigoa and fullback Patrick Ricard strengthen the run game. And Malik Nabers is working toward his return. New Orleans Saints Tyler Shough quietly completed 67.6 percent of his passes after taking over last season. Now New Orleans has added first-round receiver Jordyn Tyson, veteran tight end Noah Fant and rookie Oscar Delp around Chris Olave. Arrow wayyyyyy up. Tyson’s injury is a backbreaker for the Saints, still, when he returns, he will make a big difference. They also added Travis Etienne, who gives them a veteran RB coming off a strong season. — Enjoy free coverage of the top news & trending stories with The Big Lead Newsletter —
