As both a proud Aussie and proud Californian, Im excited to be singing the Australian National Anthem at the upcoming first-ever regular season NFL game played on Australian soil, said Simpson. Growing up between Australia and the United States, Ive followed the NFL for years and have also been to many sporting events at the iconic MCG, so Im excited to witness and be a part of this unique spectacle. And to watch two epic California teams battle it out, including my local Los Angeles Rams! See you there. Its an incredible honor to perform the U.S. National Anthem as the 49ers and Rams take the field in Melbourne, said Infinity Song. The anthem is such an important part of the tradition and anticipation leading into a game, and theres something really powerful about that moment before kickoff when an entire stadium comes together in song and celebration. Were thrilled to be part of such a special day for the NFL and its fans in Australia. We couldnt be more excited to take the music of Neil Diamond out of the theatre and into the heart of an NFL game in Melbourne, said the cast of A Beautiful Noise. Performing for a huge stadium crowd in the middle of the action is going to be an incredible experience, and theres something really special about bringing Neils music to such an iconic sporting setting. We cant wait to get out there, have some fun and make a whole lot of noise! Melbourne is set to deliver a truly special pregame, bringing together talented voices for the first regular season NFL game played in Australia, said Tim Tubito, senior director of global game presentation and entertainment at the NFL. From Cody Simpson and Infinity Song honoring both nations through their anthems, to the cast of A Beautiful Noise bringing Sweet Caroline to life, this entertainment lineup reflects the scale, spirit and celebration of this historic game. Last week it was announced the multi-platinum Jonas Brothers will headline the halftime show during the 2026 NFL Melbourne Game. The Melbourne performance is one of a record seven halftime shows presented by American Express staged across the 2026 International Games a lineup of live musical performances spanning seven countries and four continents as the league plays its most international games ever in a single season. An Australian-born recording artist and singer-songwriter, Simpson made a highly-anticipated return to music earlier this year with singles Baby Blue, When It Comes to Loving You and Fluent, marking the next chapter of a career that has spanned music, stage and elite sport. He first rose to international prominence after signing with Atlantic Records at just 13 years old, landing his sophomore album Surfers Paradise in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Infinity Song is a New York-based rock band made up of siblings Abraham, Angel, Israel and Momo Boyd. Known for their signature four-part harmonies, rich musicianship, captivating live performances and genre-blurring sound, the band recently released their awaited self-titled third album via Roc Nation Distribution. Following standout performances for NPRs Tiny Desk and COLORS, praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard and NME, major festival appearances, and an ongoing world tour, Infinity Song continues to build a rapidly growing global audience as one of rocks most distinctive new voices. Created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself, A Beautiful Noise is the uplifting true story of how a kid from Brooklyn became a chartbusting, show-stopping American rock icon. The musical is a deeply personal and electrifying theatrical experience and is currently playing in Melbourne through Nov. 7, having premiered on Aug. 8. The league is committed to growing the game at every level across the country of Australia, engaging with fans year-round through partners, programs and initiatives.
