Celta Vigo ‘confident’ they can hijack Rangers bid According to the Daily Record: “Celta Vigo are confident of beating Rangers to the signing of Couhaib Driouech. Dutch sources believe a deal can be closed quickly for the 24-year-old. Eindhoven officials also know that Driouech would favour a move to Spain over Scotland.” The player has made no secret that he wants to leave the Philips Stadion due to a lack of minutes last season. Driouech made 29 Eredivisie appearances, however only five of these were starts. His career highlight came at Anfield in November when he bagged a brace in their 4-1 victory over Liverpool in the Champions League - but even after this he still struggled for game time.
