Tony Yogane can be Aberdeen 'game-changer' as Dons boss backs winger to shine after summer move The winger will be returning to Dens Park seeking a second league victory this weekend having previously featured on loan for Steven Pressley's side last season. Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson believes 'game-changer' Tony Yogane will prove to have been well worth the fee spent on snapping up the winger. The Dons moved to bring the Brentford youngster to Pittodrie following his impressive loan spell with Steven Pressley's Dundee last season. He is set for a swift reunion, with a trip to Dens Park coming up this weekend, but this time he will be in the red of Aberdeen after his new club shelled out a six-figure fee to sign him from the Premier League, writes Record Sport. Robinson stated: "He's a game-changer, Tony. Lovely boy. Takes all the information on board. "It's only his second season again in professional football. He's 20 years of age, so I'm conscious of putting too much pressure on him. "But he's a joy to watch at times. He glides past players. His enthusiasm for the game, he wants more. So we're expecting big things from him. "But again, we have to dip him in and out at times as well. We managed him over pre-season in terms of his halves and his minutes. But he's certainly ready to go now." Robinson signed Yogane and Lewis Smith because of their creativity and their abilities to eliminate defenders. He claimed this creativity was something he hadn't had the luxury of at his previous clubs, like Motherwell, St Mirren and Morecambe. The Northern Irishman added: "It's something I didn't have at other clubs - match winners. People that go past people. That's what you pay good money for. "A young boy with huge, huge potential. He's exciting. He excites the crowd - if I'm sitting in the crowd, I want people to go one v one against people. I want them to be creative. "Certainly, he gets people off their seats, which is what we want. Lewis Smith on the other side can do that as well. "Lewis is still getting his game time under his belt and still getting that match shortness, which Tony's had a bit of a head start on him. But I'm excited about both boys. "And, as I say, young Andrew (Fasanya) we've mentioned as well, in contention for them roles as well." Yogane has swapped an English Premier League club for Pittodrie. His manager admitted it didn’t take much persuading and if it had, he would have pulled the plug. Robinson insisted: "No, not at all and I always go by my signings. If I have to convince them, and there's more than one phone call, don't sign them. It’s been something that I've always done in football. "(Don’t sign them) if you have to beg somebody to come and play for you, or they ever think they're coming to do you a favour - which you have to be careful when we get all excited about people that come from bigger clubs in different leagues. We want them to have that drive." Robinson has made 12 signings this summer and they have all been desperate to sign for Aberdeen. Keeper Marius Muller swapped the Bundesliga and Wolfsburg for the Granite City. "Marius has got a huge drive," Robinson insisted. "He's come from the Bundesliga. He wants to play. He wants to win things. "He wants to be competitive. So it's always something I've wanted to do with my signings is make sure they're hungry."
