Zach Wilson has a brand new cheerleader in his baby daughter who was born a while ago. Nicolette Wilson could not help but share a picture of their little girl in a pink onesie with a football printed on it as she cheered on her husband in his very first game for the Saints.
Wilson played for the first time as part of the New Orleans franchise after leaving Miami after a single-year duration. The quarterback was remarkably a stunner for the team with a praise-worthy performance against the Jags. Although the Saints were defeated in the matchup against Jacksonville, for Wilson it was still a win with the playmaker grabbing a single score for 145 yards.
“go dada go! (football emoji, pink heart emoji)” Nicolette Wilson captioned her Instagram Story post.
Zach Wilson’s performance did not go unnoticed with many appreciations coming his way for the way he played in the preseason opener. Wilson is clearly trying his best to impress the Saints enough to make his tenure with the team much longer than currently expected.
Wilson and the Saints will soon be locking horns with the Rams for the second preseason game, before taking on the Lions in the official season-opener. The Saints did put on a few promising performances in the previous campaign but are coming here with a stronger roster and will hope to deliver impressive games for their fans.
Zach Wilson Wants To Be QB2 With Saints
Meanwhile, Zach Wilson has already set his sights on a better role for himself with the Saints, despite just getting to New Orleans. In a recent interview, Wilson admitted that he would like to be the official backup quarterback instead of QB3 like he is currently labeled.

“Obviously I’m here to compete. I would love to be the two, I would love to find my way up there. That’s why I chose to come here, to have an opportunity to compete, but it’s out of my control. . . . I’m still young, but I feel like I’ve been able to play in a lot of games…” Zach Wilson said.
According to Wilson, his young age is a major plus, especially since he has already been part of numerous teams in his career. Of course, this means that brings different skills than Spencer Rattler, but the question is whether the Saints want this or not.
