Skattebo was quite impressive in the preseason opener between the Giants and the Saints, drawing attention even if his team ultimately lost against New Orleans. The running bac ended up with four carries for nineteen yards, which says something about the incredible recovery that he put up. While seeing Cam Skattebo finally playing for the Giants after his recovery made many New York fans super-happy, others are not too pleased. Skattebo is still just warming after his miraculous recovery and is obviously not putting his fullest effort yet. In fact, before he could take the field for the Giants, a clip of Skattebo training went viral for all the wrong reasons. Skattebo can be seen running and then pausing just for a mini-second right before taking off again. The teensy moment was more than enough for fans to notice that not everything is right with Skattebo’s leg in which he had undergone surgery. The mentions since then have been filled with predictions that Skattebo’s season will be surely cut-short by another injury. Some have also been advising the running back to listen to his body and take a break before he can hurt himself all the more in this football year. Despite all these earnings, it looks like the Giants franchise is quite confident in Skattebo and wants him to play.
